Free and Inexpensive Advertising Online

Advertising online is usually inexpensive. FREE Forum Posting is a great way to learn about online marketing as well as a way to promote your URL. There are hundreds of forums set up to help people build their internet business or to just talk about what interests them. These forums allow you to post what is called a signature. What you want to do is put an ad and a link to your URL. Then every time you make a post in that forum your signature file will show up at the bottom of your post. The more free posts you make the more your URL shows up and the more likely someone will click on your link, especially if your posts are positive and helpful. By doing this you will establish yourself as a real person on the internet and people will respond to you.

Here are some forums you may want to participate in:

http://www.work-at-home-forum.com/

http://homebasedbusinessforums.com/

http://forum.richdad.com/forums/

To find other forums do a search for “work at home forums” or “home business forums.”

When you register at each forum go into the profile section and copy and paste your signature into your signature file. Make 4 or 5 posts in at least one forum each day. Remember others are doing the same thing in these forums so avoid the temptation to join other programs as that will distract you from what works and will cost you a lot of money.

This  is a great way to get some free advertising but don’t post just to get your signature link exposed. This will get you banned from the forum very quickly. When you post, ask questions and/or provide valuable content. If your posts are high quality your chance of getting clicks  on your signature link are greatly increased..
