If you’re looking to quit your job you need to find a business opportunity that can provide you an income equal or greater to what you’re making. If you just want to supplement your income then that can be reflected in the type of business you start as well.

3.   Products are extremely important to the long term success of your business. If you do not have a product to sell, then consider joining an affiliate marketing program. 

Also be sure and purchase every product that you are going to sell so you know everything about it and can pass this knowledge on to your potential customers.

4.   Now let’s talk a little bit about money. Every home business needs to be profitable to sustain itself. 

Therefore you need to sell products that allow you to earn the type of money that you want to make. Whether you choose to sell big-ticket items, residual income products, or products that you can sell in volume, you need to understand how you will be compensated for the work you put in.
